Our owner, Thom Ellis, brings over 40 years of hands-on animal experience to every interaction. His journey started at the Ringling Circus, where he was immersed in professional animal handling from a young age. He went on to become a U.S. Army dog trainer and handler, developing expertise in obedience, control, and working-dog management under high-pressure conditions. After the Army, Thom served as a bomb detection dog handler with the TSA. Today he volunteers as a dog walker at the Sarasota Humane Society.
